Steven Russell Flowers

Steven Russell Flowers “64” of Byrdstown, TN, passed away at his home on June 22nd 2020.

He was born January 26, 1956 to Russell B. Flowers and Patricia A. (Upchurch) Flowers in Indianapolis, IN. He was a graduate of Warren Central High School and acquired many trade skills thereafter. He dedicated his time as a Volunteer for the Fire and Rescue Squad in Monroe and Pickett County. He also received multiple “life saving” training certifications which he used to help others. His current employment was with Kardol as Head of Maintenance.

He is survived by Daughter: Melissa J. Flowers; Grandchildren: Rocky, Scotty, and Terry McGuffin; Son: Steven D. Flowers (Susan); Grandchildren: Corbin and Adler Flowers; Daughter: Samantha A. (Flowers) Clouse (Joe); Grandchildren: Joslynn and Isaac Clouse. Father: Russell B. Flowers (Debbie); Brother: Jeffrey W. Flowers; Brother: Gregory A. Flowers; Colton Flowers (Brittany) and numerous other Family Members and Friends.

He is preceded in death by Mother: Patricia U. Flowers; Grandmother: Jessie R. Smelcer; Grandfather: Ruble Upchurch Sr.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held from 10-3pm, Saturday July 18th at Sgt. Alvin C. York State Park in Pall Mall, TN. Our Dad chose to be cremated, so we will honor his memory by celebrating all the things he loved with Family, Friends and Food.

In Lieu of Flowers, Memorial Donations may be sent to Pickett County Fire Department 8817 TN-111, Byrdstown, TN 38549 or brought that day to the memorial service.
