Robert (everyone called him Bob) was born in Detroit, Michigan in 1933., and was married in 1953. He served 2 years in the Army stationed in Germany 1954-56 as a tank driver. When he returned to the U.S. he worked at General Motors for almost 20 years, before moving to Florida with his family to run a small motel he bought near the beach. He was an excellent mechanic and talented handy man and could repair almost anything. He and his wife moved to Tennessee in the late 90's, and he worked in construction for several years before retiring. He suffered with health issues and dementia in the last two years of his life. He was a very hard worker his whole life, and now because he had faith that Jesus Christ was his Savior, he will be resting comfortably with his parents in Heaven.
