Pamela Gail Rains

Pamela Gail Rains was born on November 4, 1966 to Perry and Betty (Flowers) Rains at Jamestown, TN. The family moved to Chattanooga in January of 1967. She passed away on Monday, December 27, 2021 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

 

She graduated from Tyner High School in Chattanooga in 1985 and the Tennessee Tech University with a BS in Business Management with a minor in Psychology in 1992. When Pamela started working she was a second and third shift manager at the call center for technical support at Trendar Corp from 1993 to 1996. After that, Pamela worked at HCA Hospital Corp of America as a System Engineer from 1996 to 2003. She worked at Verizon Wireless as a cell phone repair technician until 2006.

 

Pam lived in Buffalo Valley, TN on her mini farm where she enjoyed her horses, dogs and cats.

 

Pamela is survived by her mother, Betty Rains, aunts, Jana F. Humphrey of Oak Ridge; Virginia F. O'Rear of Cookeville and Lorene Cargile of Jamestown; uncles, Leon Flowers of Rossville, GA and William Rains of Bethesda, TN and a host of other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her: father, Perry Roger Rains; grandparents, Floyd "Spider" and Ollie Flowers; James and Lucy Rains; Four Infant Brothers.

 

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 30, 2021, 12:00 noon til 2:00 pm at Jennings Funeral Homes, Jamestown, TN.
     
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021, 2:00 pm at the Jennings Funeral Homes Chapel, Jamestown, TN. Burial will take place in the Wolf River Cemetery.
