Myra Blevins Obituary

Myra Ellen (Cowle) Blevins, age 72 of Jamestown, passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at her home.

Myra graduated from Ayersville High School in 1968, then went on to further her education and graduated from Stautzenburger College in Maumee, Ohio. She began her career as a Legal Secretary for Shaw, Clemens and Williams and also Schuller Law Firms in Defiance, Ohio, as well as the Section 8 Manager in Defiance, Ohio. She was also the Business Manager for Sterns-Hendy Apartments in Lima, Ohio.

Myra loved living on a farm; raising and riding horses as well as gardening were her passion. She had a deep love for animals, taking in stray animals when they came to her doorstep. She was an avid book reader and loved spending time with her family, more than anything.

Myra's wishes were to be cremated. No services are planned at this time.

Husband, Roger Blevins
Son, Todd Blevins of Jamestown, TN
Grandchildren, Nathan Blevins
Laken Herring, both of Defiance, OH
6 Great Grandchildren
7 Foster Children

She is preceded in death by her:
Son, Cory Blevins
Parents, William Walter and Norma (Peck) Cowle
