Michael Robert Miller

Michael Robert Miller, age 71 of Grimsley, passed away on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at the Cumberland Medical Center.

 

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at 4:00 pm at the Jamestown Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Burial will follow in the Fentress Memorial Gardens.

 

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Jamestown Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

 

Michael Robert Miller was born July 9, 1949 in Long Beach, California. He was married to Linda
on July 24, 1972. The family was soon joined by Amelia Rose and Tangerine. The family moved
to Houston in 1982 where Trevor was added to the family. He had a long career with BJ
Services where he was a customer service representative in inside sales. On May 11, 2013 he
was married to Gerri Lea Miller. The couple moved to Grimsley, TN. Service and kindness were
what made him who he was. He was generous to a fault. There was nothing he would not do for
his family and loved ones. Family was his life. We all knew that he could be counted on in times
of need.

 

Mike was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He had a strong
testimony of the Church and the Savior. He served a mission with his wife, Gerri. He served in
the Nashville Temple until COVID-19 shut the Temple down. He loved being a member of the
Community Choir and serving at the Food Bank.
