Kathryn Marie (Hill) Shaner

Kathryn Marie Shaner, age 70 of Jamestown, passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at the Cumberland Medical Center.

Kathy was born in Martinsville, IN and grew up in Mooresville, IN. She lived in Stillesville, IN for 32 years and drove a school bus with the Mill Creek School Corporation for 18 years.

She was an avid equestrian and showed horses and trail rode for most of her life. She also bred and raised dogs for many years. She was a loving family member, and her family was very important to her. She was a devoted wife of 51 years.

She lived in Jamestown, TN for 14 years and spent a lot of her time trail riding or with her beloved friends.

Kathy’s faith and her relationship with Jesus was very important to her and she was an active member of Jamestown First Baptist Church, and she is now at peace with her Lord and Savior.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the Jamestown First Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 29, 2022 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Jamestown First Baptist Church.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at 1:30 pm at the Mount Pleasant Christian Church in Greenwood, IN.

Mother, Mary Louise (Tincher) Hill
Sister, Deana Hardin

In Lieu of Flowers, the Family request donations to the First Baptist Church Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Ministry and they can be left at Jennings Funeral Homes. 

Jennings Funeral Homes of Jamestown is in charge of the Cremation and the Family is in charge of the Celebration of Life for Kathryn Marie Shaner of Jamestown.
