Johnny Dean Brown

August 11, 1956 ~ April 30, 2021 (age 64)

Obituary

Johnny Dean Brown, age 64, of Jamestown, Tennessee passed away peacefully at Cookeville Regional Medical Center on April 30, 2021, surrounded by loved ones.

Johnny was born in Jamestown, Tennessee on August 11, 1956 and graduated from Alvin C. York Institute in 1975. He was a carpenter and welder by trade who could build anything and run a machine shop like no one else. He took great pride in that work, but a work-related injury kept him from continuing it in later years. Johnny never met a stranger and was always willing to help others, especially his family. He loved his children, stepchildren, parents, brothers and sisters, nieces, and nephews and so many others fiercely. He was always ready with a smile, a big hug, great stories and loved to talk about sports.

A private memorial service will be held at the Allardt Cemetery.
