I'm so sorry to learn about Jim's passing. We were two Jamestown kids who met and became friends in Roane County. He was a stand-up guy — always willing to help with a heart of gold. My condolences to his family.

I Love You

What a wonderful person Jim Choate was!  Never saw him when he wasn't happy and full of life and ALWAYS made us laugh.  I know you are all gonna miss him terribly and hate so bad that i wasn't there for you at the burial.  I love all of you so very much and loved Jim too. One thing for sure, if you ever knew him, you will NEVER forget him!!!
