Jennifer Sue (Mathias) Spivey

Jennifer Sue (Mathias) Spivey, age 49 of Crossville passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2023 in Clarkrange, TN.

Jennifer was born in Decatur, IL to Patricia and James Mathias. She grew up accompanied by her 4 siblings Terri Wagner, Jimmy Durbin, Darryl Durbin, and Bruce Mathias. Her life partner was James David Spivey.

She was an amazing mother to six children. Alecia (James) Hargis, Nicole (Ullrich) Rodriguez, Andy Mathias, Corbin Wagner, Teniesa Robison, and Savanna Robison. 

Nanny had a deep love for her 14 grandchildren. Damion, Cayden, Dakota, Holland Grace, Jayden, Alondra, Davina, AJ, Fallun, Aliana, Annalia, Elizabeth, Gabriel, and Corbin.

Jennifer was reunited with her late son Corbin Wagner and Father James Mathias.

Jennifer was a jack of all trades. If she wanted to do it, she would figure out how to do it. She had many great friends, everyone loved her for all that she was. She will be missed deeply simply because she was a rare individual- Honest, smart, dedicated, loyal, and true to her heart! She had a deep love and connection with animals. Her life here has ended, but her spirit and soul survive and live on. We can only rest assured she knew how special and how deep she touched our lives.

A celebration of life will be held on September 9, 2023 at Gum Springs Baptist Church, 5454 Franks Ferry Road, Walling, TN 38587. The family will receive friends from 10-11am with service following.
