Glenda Crabtree Obituary

Mrs. Glenda Sue Harvey Crabtree, age 75, of Muncie, Indiana passed away January 16, 2021 at her
residence with her family by her side. She was born April 28, 1945 to the late Niles and Delphia Greer
Harvey in Pall Mall, Tennessee. Sue was saved in 1974 at the Westside United Baptist Church and was a
member of the 20th  Street Southern United Baptist Church.
 
Sue married the love of her life, Doyle Crabtree, on June 12, 1961 and he preceded her in death in April
of 2020. She was a homemaker and loved her family dearly. Until her health prevented her from doing
so, Sue loved to frequent the Senior Citizens Center and Cop Shop #9.
 
Sue is survived by two daughters, Angel Cavanaugh and husband, Wayne, of Muncie, Indiana and Tina
Sewell and husband, Chris, of Winfield, Tennessee; three grandchildren, Kalyn King and husband, Jimie
King III, and Kelci Gilliam all of Muncie, Indiana and Eli Sewell of Winfield, Tennessee; one great-
granddaughter, Grayci Sue Gilliam and one great-grandson, Gannon Doyle Gilliam; one brother, James
Harvey; two sisters, Jean Delk and Ola Mae Harding; brothers-in-law, Bobby Crabtree and Reeder
Ramsey; sisters-in-law, Peggy Lee and husband, Sam, Matilda Crabtree, Linda Beaty and husband,
Charles; family friend, Judy Lehman; and many other relatives and friends.
 
In addition to her husband and parents, Sue is preceded in death by great-granddaughter, Little Fairy
King; sisters, Reba Ramsey, Ena Choate and husband, Glen, Vena Duncan and husband, Casto; sister-in-
law, Edelene Crabtree; brothers-in-law, Chief Harding and Billy Roger Crabtree.
 
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 22, 2021 from 11:00am until time of funeral service at
1:00pm at the Fellowship Baptist Church located at 2204 South Macedonia Avenue, Muncie, IN 47302.
 
Interment will follow in the Elm Ridge Cemetery, Muncie, Indiana, under the direction of Parson Mortuary and Cremation Center, Muncie, Indiana.
