Georgia Mae "Jo" (West) Qualls, of Jamestown, age 79, child of God, devoted wife, mother,
grandmother, and friend, passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at Signature Healthcare of Fentress
County.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Jennings Funeral Homes Chapel in Jamestown. Burial will follow in the Pritchard Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 15, 2021 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Jennings Funeral Homes Chapel in Jamestown.
Jo was born July 17, 1941, in Red Hill, Tennessee, to Caster and Iner Mae (Pritchard) West. She was a
member of Jamestown First Baptist Church where she taught the children’s class Mission Friends for a
number of years. She also held a special concern for those who dedicated their lives to spreading the
gospel of Christ around the world. She enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family and
friends, and tending her wild flowers.
Jo is survived by her:
Husband of 53 years, Zeb Steven Qualls
Son, Steven and daughter-in-law Leigh Qualls
Grandchildren, Ethan, Ephraim, and Lizzie Qualls
Brother, James West and wife Cheryl
Sisters, Wilma Williams
Betty Sue Beaty and husband Guy Dale
Sister-in-law, Susanne Thompson and husband Bill
A host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends
She was preceded in death by her:
