Gary Lee Whited

Gary Lee Whited, 74, of Columbus, Georgia, passed away Friday, February 9, 2018 at Saint Francis Hospital.

Gary was born July 3, 1943 in Jamestown, Tennessee to the late Kellie Whited and Zola Smith Whited. He was a U.S.Army veteran, former barber, and former owner of Whited Motor Company, and Columbus Drive In Motors. He was employed with Charles Levy Motors, Bill Heard Chevrolet, and Bill Heard Enterprises. He once enjoyed racing at East Alabama Motor Speedway, and fishing.

The family has chosen cremation.

Surviving are his daughter, Tamara Whited Tilley and a son, Terry Lee Whited, a grandson, Landon Kyle Tilley, a brother, Jerry Whited, a sister, Nell Whited Huff and husband Jerry Dale, a host of nieces and nephews
