Ella Manis Obituary

Mrs. Ella Jaye Manis, age 78, of Oneida, Tennessee, passed away on December 19, 2023, at her home. She was born April 18, 1945, in Jamestown, Tennessee, to the late Arthur Duggan and the late Atha Easterly Duggan.
Mrs. Manis was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. She worked as an x-ray technician and phlebotomist for many years. She was a loving wife and mother, and her greatest joy was being Nana to her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by: (1) husband, Jack Manis, (2) brother, Herbert Duggan, (3) sister, Barbara Rush and husband Fred, (4) brother, Sonny Duggan, and (5) an infant sister.
She is survived by (1) sons, Kevin Manis and wife Stephanie of Franklin, Tennessee and Jason Manis and wife Kathy of Oneida, (2) sisters, Patricia Brown and husband Lonnie of Allardt, Tennessee and Charollet Conatser and husband Junior of Jamestown, Tennessee, (3) sisters-in-law JoAnn Duggan of Jamestown, Tennessee, and Iva Duggan of Athens, Tennessee and (5) five grandchildren, Jacob Gauge Manis and wife Isabelle, William Taylor Manis, Jacey Erica Manis, Madeline Grace Manis, and Mollie Reagan Manis, and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends for visitation between 10:00 am until 12:00 pm on December 23, 2023, in the chapel of the Four Oaks Funeral Home in Oneida. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 pm with Bro. Jeff Davis officiating. Music will be provided by Nick Manis, John V. Thompson & Derek Manis Burial will follow in the Carson Memorial Park in Oneida.
Pallbearers will include family and friends.
