David E. Ward

With a very sad and heavy heart, “David Earl Ward” 63 of Wartburg, went to be with our Lord, March 31, 2021. He will be very missed by the ones he left behind but rejoicing with the ones that went before him. He loved his family with all his heart. He enjoyed playing music for many, many years. Knocking on heaven’s doors was one of his favorite songs, and ours too. Anyone that knew him, loved him. He was a very loving and giving person all around, he always helped anyone that asked, he always put everyone before his own needs. He was a fabricator, machinist, and welder; Blessed, he was most passionate about playing music.

 

He is preceded in death by his parents, J.H. Ward and Clara Jo (Koger) Ward of Jamestown.

 

He is survived by his wife: Nancy Anissa Ward of Wartburg, and their children. Son: David “Jordan” Ward of Wartburg, Daughter: Erika (Steven) Woolums, and grandchildren: Destini Ward, and Deacon Woolums.

 

By his ex-wife Debbie Rosenbaum of Jamestown, and their daughters Danita (Owen) Simoneau of Allardt, Grandkids: Zackery Winningham, Anissa Harding, Justin Brooks. Great grandaughter: Ayslee Harding, And Delana (Dwight) Miller of Clark range, and grandson: Austin Hensley

 

Brothers and sisters: Larry (Linda) Ward of Jamestown, Anita (Tony) York of Jamestown, Marsha (Vincent Lyons) Andrews of Macon Georgia, and Ricky (Sandy) Ward of Jamestown. And a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

 

Memorial services will be held on Monday, April 5, 2021 at 7:00 pm at the Jennings Funeral Homes Chapel in Jamestown.

 

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 5, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Jennings Funeral Homes Chapel in Jamestown.
