David Nolen Obituary

David Nolen, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 after a brief illness. He is a native of Texas, but has been a resident of Jamestown for 30 years. David is survived by his former wife, Nancy Lee Thompson of Jamestown; two sons, Christopher Nolen of Gentry, Arkansas and Sean Nolen of Texarkana, Texas; 2 step-sons Adam Sorenson of Middleburg, Florida and Jason Sorenson of Chesterton, Indiana; 5 grandchildren and 5 step-grandchildren and sister, Nell Abney. He is preceded in death by his parents, Claude Nolen and Mildred McCrary Nolen; son, Matthew McCrary Nolen and sisters, Linda Dew and Nan Hyde. He was proud to be a veteran of the United States Air Force! David was loved and respected by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. There is to be no viewing or funeral. Jennings Funeral Homes of Jamestown is in charge of cremation for David Nolen of Jamestown.
