Obituary
Anna Jill Crouch, age 79 of Jamestown, passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2023 at the Cumberland Medical Center.
Commonly known as “Nanny” she lived a life grounded in love, family, giving, and hard-work. She began working at the age of 14 to help provide for her brothers and sisters and continued to work until she retired. She married Bob Crouch in 1963 and they had 2 kids, Tony and Michael. Nanny loved her kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids more than anything and often would tell anyone who would listen how she proud she was of them. A fiery spirit and a gentle soul she enjoyed clogging at bluegrass festivals, riding “water boggins,” supporting her grandkids in basketball and golf, and going on adventures with her grandkids. Most of all, she was there when you needed a helping hand and always thought of others before herself.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at 1:00 pm at the Jennings Funeral Homes Chapel in Jamestown. Burial will follow in the Frogge Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 17, 2023 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Jennings Funeral Homes Chapel in Jamestown.
