Trula M. Hull-Butcher, born February 19, 1925, passed away peacefully Friday, Oct. 6, 2017, at the age of 92. She joined her beloved husband of 70 years, Richard L. Butcher who proceeding her on November 11, 2013.
Trula retired as a dental assistant instructor from Montgomery County Joint Vocational School. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star – Belmont Chapter, the Montgomery County Retired Teacher's Association, and the Rugby, TN Historical Society. Trula was proud of her Tennessee heritage & enjoyed attending the Hull Family Reunions in Jamestown, TN, as well as being instrumental in planning the Hull reunions in Dayton, OH for many years. Trula had a kind, loving soul and touched the hearts of everyone she met. She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her family. She is greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her husband, Trula was preceded in death by her parents Truman Allen and Mae Tompkins Hull, and six siblings: Clarence Hull, Haskell Hull, Mona Hull-Schroeder, Lucille Hull-Jucker, Travis Hull, and Tallant Hull. She is survived by a brother Truman Hull of Loveland, CO; a daughter Beverly Hartman of Eaton, OH; grandchildren, Melissa (Chris) Corwin of Eaton, OH, and Todd (Janine) Hartman of Sierra Vista, AZ; great-grandchildren, Symantha (Jacob) Mendenhall, Amanda (Chris) Meckstroth all of Eaton, OH, and Christopher Hartman of Dayton, OH; eight great-great grandsons (& a great-great granddaughter due in Nov); along with numerous nieces & nephews.
As per their wishes, both she and Richard will be interned together at Fellowship United Baptist Church Cemetery in Armathwaite, Tennessee on June 29, 2018, following a 1:00 pm (CST) & 2:00 pm (EST) Memorial Service with friends and family at the church. Everyone .
