Rev. Charles Gibbs Obituary
Rev. Charles E. Gibbs, Jr. age 85, of Cookeville, passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2018 in the Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Rev. Charles E. Gibbs is a former pastor of First Baptist Church of Jamestown.
The Celebration of Life service for Rev. Gibbs will be held at the First Baptist Church of Cookeville on Friday, December 28th at 11:00 a.m.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 27th from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home.
Rev. Charles E. Gibbs is survived by his:
Wife- Carol (Kennerly) Gibbs of Cookeville
Son- Dr. Charles Wayne Gibbs of Kansas City, KS
Daughter- Joan Pritchard and husband Chris of Louisville, KY
A host of other family and friends
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Operation Christmas Child in care of the First Baptist Church of Jamestown, Cookeville or other participating churches.
