So very sorry to hear of the passing of dear Oakley. My daughter, Amanda, and I met Oakley and Oma for the first time at the Senior Center in Kissimmee, FL. We had taken my mother-in-law there in an effort to get her out of the house after my FIL passed away. We got to know Oakley and we enjoyed the music. He encouraged Amanda to play the fiddle and she went to their home a few times to practice. He kept telling me "She has the talent...she just needs to pursue it". Oakley would stop by our real estate office every so often to visit and we were always glad to see him. Oakley always had a cheerful countenance. I know we will see him again one day. Our condolences to the family. What a kind and sweet person he was.

Goodbye dad. I love you more than you ever knew. I will miss singing with you so much. I know if you could of said anything in your last days, you would have made me promise to take care of Debbie. I will keep as close as an eye as I can. I know you are happier and more content than you have ever been in your life on earth. I know you and mom will be keeping an eye on us all. Until we see each other again, I love you dad.

I love you grandpa and miss you so much. Thank you for everything you have done for me. You were best father figure I could ask for, you walked me down the aisle and said the most funny thing at my wedding reception. I wouldn't change our relationship for anything. It's time to let you go. You are free from pain and suffering which is a blessing. Your with grandma now and playing your fiddle. Goodbye grandpa! I love and was blessed to have you in my life for 39 years. Until I see you again.
