Ms. Rachel was such a wonderful kind woman. It never failed for her to stop and talk to me each time I have saw her. Such a joy to be around and always smiling! I loved Ms. Rachel and I know this is a great loss to your family. Praying for you.

Aunt Rachel was always the epitome of Southern class and charm. She was one of the hardest working women I ever knew! Her house was ALWAYS immaculate, and she was a great cook as well as a generous hostess. Her bread-and-butter pickles were my favorite. When I was a young girl, I always wanted to stay at her house when we visited from Dayton, Ohio, She had the most beautiful hands even though she worked hard in her home and in the chicken houses they owned. Last week, she regaled me with stories about her mother, my grandmother, who was born in CA. She shared a story about a trip out West with her husband, Luster. She wanted to see the state her mother had told her so much about. She always showed so much kindness to my family and me. You will be missed, Aunt Rachel, but enjoy Heaven with your family and friends who are already there. You will be so missed here on Earth.
