Shizuko and I will always remember our time with Clarence and Ilah at Huron Baptist Church in Oscoda, MI. They both were so dear to us. It is with great sadness to hear the passing of Ilah. But, at the same time, we rejoice that she is now in her heavenly home with no more pains or sadness. Surely Jesus has a special place for this wonderful Christian woman. We pray that God will give Clarence peace in his heart and uphold him during this time of mourning. Rejoice, Rejoice, Jesus saves.

There are not many words that can express the pain that a family feels when a loved one falls asleep in death. Aunt Iffie will be missed. Even though she and Uncy did not have any children of their own, they made all the nieces and nephews feel like their own. I have so many good memories that I will cherish. She was a tough lady and loved by so many. The last several years have been painful for her and her wonderful husband. The words at Revelation 21: 3~4 are comforting for me, God promises a time when death will be no more, but for now we suffer imperfection and death.
Much love to all of our family.
