The hero, mother, grandmother and best friend to me.I honestly do not know where my life would have been today without her. She raised my sister and me in church and taught us the way to go and she brought us up in a Godly home. Granted in our adulthood we have strayed from that path several times but because of her teaching and being the role model she was....we always find our way back to the pry she showed us of straight and narrow. The Bible says to raise up children in the way they should go and it will not depart from it (not quoted). That is exactly what she done. She raised her 6 children and still made a way to raise Scarlett and me (and some times other grandkids off and on but sis and me continually) from little girls until we were married. Most of the time after we were married as well. She worked hard to take care of us and we never had a lot but never did we go without and i would give anything to go back in time and be that little girl again so I could cherish it more and to be able to appreciate her more. My childhood with my grandma was a blessing. She was a blessing. We attended church faithfully and she taught Sunday school and was a Godly Christian Woman (Proverbs 31 Woman). I wish to be only half the woman she has been and i will never find anyone who will set on the pedestal I have her placed on. My grandma was an angel from God and i will miss her so much.
